New CLAIT has been developed from the RSA CLAIT Stage 1 qualification, which is the most successful basic information technology qualification available in the country. It is intended for new ICT users and assumes no prior experience of computers or communication technology. 

The course consists of five modules covering different concepts of Information Communication Technology.  They are:
